Providing adults who are developmentally disabled with quality and variety in daily activities

"Aspire" - eagerly desire something great!
"Beyond" - further on, ahead onward

Aspire Beyond's goal is to help each individual learn how to function in the community with as much independence as possible. This is achieved by providing a stimulating and challenging environment.

We focus on both on-site and off-site activities that help develop positive life and work skills.   Safe and socially acceptable behavior is emphasized at all times.

On-Site Skills & Activities

· Meal Planning & Shopping - grocery lists, shopping, communication with store personnel, and money exchanges.

Paid Employment:  On -Site

Document destruction at AB Document Destruction. Sorting & shredding of confidential documents.

Operating as AB Document Destruction, Aspire Beyond performs paper shredding and document destruction for businesses and individuals.

All shredding is done at our site in Wheat Ridge due to the fact that most of our workers are mentally and physically disabled.  PICT2287

Wages (Jan ’08) are based on a prevailing wage of $12/hour for piece work (under a Commensurate Wage Certificate) in the document destruction area. Hourly positions enjoy a starting wage of $7.02 per hour.

Our shredding area is not open to the public and is monitored by our security system at all times.  As we operate under NAID security guidelines, workers must undergo criminal background and credit inquiries. Consent to random drug testing may also be required as a condition of employment.
